CCG Automation receives Business of the Year Award from the Richfield Chamber of Commerce

Posted on 1/13/2016

CCG Automation is the proud recipient of the annual Richfield Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award.  An award that was created by the Chamber of Commerce to recognize companies that provide both civic and economic contributions to the community.

CCG Automation along with its sister company CCG Energy Solutions together form CCG Companies, which provide building automation controls and energy solutions to schools, hospitals and businesses throughout Northeast Ohio.   The services provided by CCG enable buildings to perform optimally while creating comfortable and energy-efficient environments where students, patients and employees can thrive.   CCG has been the proud recipient of multiple national, regional and global awards, including the EPA’s Battle of the Buildings award and the Association of Energy Engineers Energy Project of the Year award, three years in a row.

CCG has called Richfield home since 1997 when the owner Brian Wagner opened its doors next to the iconic Whitey’s Booz-n-Burgers.   Although the physical location has changed once over the nearly two decades of business, Richfield has and will continue to be home to CCG.

Over the years CCG has grown and cultivated its reputation of high quality and exceptional service.  However, the commitment to excellence does not stop with our clients - it extends into the community through a number of channels.   Community involvement is not just a catch-phrase, it’s a way of life for CCG, even being incorporated into the company’s mission statement which reads in part…”we will focus on expanding and strengthening the foundation of our company so that it will remain a resource for our team, a solution for our customers, and an asset in our community for years to come.”  CCG employees are actively involved with a number of charitable and civic movements.   “Our employees not only care about our clients and ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded, but they care about the community too” said Brian Wagner, President of CCG Automation.   Wagner went on to say “We live here.  This is where we raise our families.  It’s more than just a business it’s a way to give back.”

Grace Novak, Office Manager at CCG added, “We have been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for numerous years, supporting the Sweet Corn Challenge, in recent past years we have worked with St. Victor and the St. Vincent DePaul society helping the less fortunate of the community. We also continuously support the Richfield FOP and the Toy Program they do each year.
