NEOMED Chooses Automated Logic WebCTRL for Book Depository Facility

Posted on 10/6/2008

(Richfield, Ohio) October 6, 2008 After seeing the power and ease of use of Automated Logic's WebCTRL building automation system in several of its other facilities, Northeast Ohio Medical University  (NEOMED) is bringing another building online its Book Depository.

The project will include a complete replacement of the building automation system.

"This building formerly relied on an older system that was expensive to repair and difficult to find replacement parts," says Brian Wagner, president of CCG Automation. "The customer felt at risk for a system failure and extended downtime. By installing Automated Logic controls, CCG Automation will give NEOUCOM a sense of security."

Wagner says that peace of mind is top of mind for many customers with whom he consults. "Cost of repairs, availability of parts and delayed notification of break downs make maintenance teams nervous," he says. "When they see the many benefits of a Web-based Automated Logic system, dramatic energy savings, around-the-clock monitoring of spaces and ease of use, they heave a sigh of relief."
