Kenston Local Schools Makes Building Automation Upgrades at Timmons Elementary

Posted on 10/15/2013

Building automation upgrades are being completed at Timmons Elementary utilizing a phased in approach.  In 2010 the district worked with CCG Automation to install emergency alarms for the heating system using Automated Logic WebCTRL®.   That was step one of the phased in approach.  Step two is to add controls to the systems that will allow Kenston Local Schools to control the equipment in the building.

Once the installation is complete, Kenston Local Schools will be able to control the heating hot water system, the boiler room make-up air unit, domestic hot water system and additional peripheral systems.  Additional heating hot water pumps, VAV terminals, exhaust fans and unit heaters will be able to be controlled as well.  CCG Automation is excited to expand the abilities of Automated Logic’s WebCTRL® to the building systems in Timmons Elementary.  This will allow the district to manage the learning environment at Timmons Elementary.
