    $1,872,427
  • Projected Annual Energy Savings:
    $125,648
  • Actual First Year Energy Savings:
    $165,742
  • Savings Exceeded Projection By:
    $40,094

The project addressed several Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) in six buildings, including:

  • Building automation upgrades
  • Mechanical upgrades
  • Lighting upgrades, including campus-wide exterior lighting
  • Insulation upgrades
  • Gas and electric meters
  • Main transformer upgrade

Along with the energy and cost savings for these buildings, the positive environmental impact of this project extends far beyond this community. Reduced energy use by EHOVE Career Center will prevent a significant amount of pollutants from being emitted into the atmosphere each year, including an estimated:

  • 922,810 lbs. of carbon dioxide
  • 9,971 lbs. of sulfur dioxide
  • 6,937 lbs. of nitrogen oxide

Combined, these energy savings are equivalent to taking 68.36 cars off the road.
