The project addressed several Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) in five buildings, including:

  • Heating plant upgrades
  • Window upgrades
  • Building automation upgrades
  • Lighting upgrades

Actual First Year Savings:

  • 1,147,705 kWh of electricity
    $99,784
  • 9,822 MCF of natural gas
    $103,513
  • Operational savings
    $62,360

Along with the energy and cost savings for the building, the positive environmental impact of this project extends far beyond this community. Projected reduced energy use by  Revere Local Schools will prevent a significant amount of pollutants from being emitted into the atmosphere each year, including an estimated:

  • 1,699,733 lbs. of Carbon Dioxide
  • 18,368 lbs. of Sulfur Dioxide
  • 11,865  lbs. of Nitrogen Oxide

Combined, these projected energy savings are equivalent to taking 125.91 cars off the  road.
