Continuous Validation

Wednesday, October 24, 2018 by Brian C. Wagner

The first months utility bills are in and the winner is…….. the patients of Akron Children’s Hospital.  After adding 209,979 ft2, or 84%, to the Considine Professional Building to consolidate programs, the September 2018 utility costs dropped 18% from September 2017, prior to the addition.  If that isn’t enough, the need for cooling, as measured in Degree Days, increased 13% from September 2017 to September 2018.

It’s only a one month comparison. Over the next year, as we implement our Continuous Validation process, we expect the energy usage to drop even further.  Thank you to Akron Children’s Hospital for trusting CCG to control the new addition and replace the controls in the existing facility.

CCG. Expect Excellence.
